On Monday, February 10, 2025, Foundation Leren voor Morgen and Teachers for Climate, together with ROC Nijmegen, organized a sustainable games evening for teachers and game developers. During this evening, the participants were introduced to various sustainable development games by playing them themselves. This way you discover which game suits students best. A very valuable initiative that we want to repeat in Haarlem this spring together with the Sustainable Teacher Network Haarlem.
From the Haarlem-Mutare Stedenband, three people participated in Nijmegen and showed our games Aqua Heroes (board game primary school/first grade) and the games Gender Adventure and #YouToo (serious games for secondary education). All our games are free, developed by NGOs and European HBO students. They are part of an Erasmus+ program from the EU. The games #YouToo and Gender Adventure can be downloaded for free in five languages from https://citizengames.pl/.
