Kutenda School Fund Mutare

Through sponsoring of the compulsory school fees wants to enable as much children as possible at Mutare to take part in primary and secondary education.

We achieve that by paying for children from a poor background the compulsory school fees, books and uniforms.

The support is not for one period, the children get support during primary and secundairy education for as long as necessary.

Background
From 1992 has the City of Haarlem a City Link with Mutare Zimbabwe. The main goal of the relation between Haarlem and Mutare is to strengthen the mutual tie between the people of the cities. To create more involvement with and insight in development problems and actual support to the people of Mutare in their development.

Therefore also a school and study fund to enable children to go to primary and secondary schools.
In Zimbabwe the school fees are compulsory. Not everyone is able to pay these costs, the result is that many children are deprived of education and therefore of a good future.

Why this fund?
The aim is as much education for as many children.
In principal all the funds that are raised are directly used to support the children at Mutare, the effect of your donation is therefore optimal. The donations are used to pay directly for costs of education by volunteers of the City Link.

How operates the fund?
You donate directly to the bank account of the Kutenda Foundation.
Every donation small or large is welcome.
The costs of a child at school are:
Primary education € 30.00 each year.
Secondary education € 90.00 each year.
This is including uniform and educational tools.

Who will benefit from the fund?
Through our contacts in Mutare a screening will be done. The need and necessity of the request is looked at.
Those who are supported by the fund can expect to be supported during his whole school career until the end of secondary school.

What do you here or see?
The Kutenda fund reports once a year about here activities.
You don't receive pictures or letters. Everything is done anonymous.
